Feb. 13, 2022: Montana's State Constitution
This Sunday, join the Sanders County Democrats as they celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Montana’s State Constitutional Convention. Retired State Supreme Court Justice Jim Nelson will review the strengths of what many consider to be the strongest and best written Constitution of the 50 states. We thank the Lewis and Clark Library and the League of Women Voters who originally produced this video to share with others. Montana’s Constitution protects citizens’ rights, defines responsibilities, protects our land and liberties, and our right to a healthful environment. This document defines the workings of our state government and is the foundation for our counties’, businesses’ and personal rights. It is the foundation of What Unites Us. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdgJIyzv45M

The influx of funds to our hospitals and non-profits, to our schools and local government, to non-profits and small businesses alike is what keeps our rural counties’ economy thriving. Join former Senator Jim Elliott, as he reviews the many ways the CARES Act, and the recently passed Infrastructure Bill will provide funds to allow Montana and Sanders County to remain solvent and vital. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=La9rCVuENQs
